BOB GEAL (Electricity Bill)

SHOCKING!
Redefining the one man band - Electricity Bill returns with his latest indie rock album Shocking.
A mix of musical genres linked together by lyrical exploration and an underlying theme of alienation and absurdity expressed with humour and passion, Bill has never made complex listening so easy.
Here you will find the country feel of Electricity Hill-Billy along with Beefheartistic and Zapparistic touches. Crisp production, catchy songs with an emotional core supplemented with warm harmonies, you'll never find a more agreeable Bill.
The album was produced and mixed by Bill and Brian Herbert whose fine pair of ears, encouragement and generous donation of time played a large part in making this project happen. Thanks to Zoë Geal and Claire Herbert for backing vocals, Nick Zala-Webb for pedal steel on 'Alice' and Steve Painter for the guitar solo on 'Night Falls Again'.Thanks also to Sam Geal for the cover painting. Bill wrote the songs, played the instruments and did the graphic design. The album was mastered by Graham Semark at Cyclone Music.
